Fragrance of pure dark fruit combined with a light/wild herbal note, becoming more floral in the glass. Extremely polished in texture, chalky and smooth, but still vibrant.

Effusive aromas of violets, roses, ripe strawberries and blackberry preserves, then powerful, tannic and concentrated on the palate. It is built for decades of aging before it hits its prime.

The palate is medium-bodied with a smooth entry, assiduously spiced with white pepper, clove and hints of marjoram towards the extended finish. Wonderful.
